Banking on the Basics

This research was undertaken following concerns raised by citizens advice bureaux across Scotland about access to basic bank accounts for vulnerable clients. It sets out to explore the accessibility of bank accounts for people living in Scotland, financial institutions' responses to people's financial situations, and the prospects of financial inclusion.
