More about the job
This post is partially funded by The British Gas Energy Trust.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a successful candidate to provide generalist advice and support to our clients out in the community. While the successful candidate will be able to provide advice and support on the full range of matters it is anticipated that many enquiries will be around the Cost-of-Living crisis and rising energy costs. The role will involve assessing the client’s situation, dealing promptly with any emergencies, and liaising with other bureau staff and external organisations to support the client as much as possible. The role also involves ensuring that the client’s details are fully captured on our online recording system and that all statistical data is captured for funding purposes. The successful candidate will work very closely with the local Trussell Trust foodbank providers who will provide a befriending service. As this will be based out in the community, the ability to travel around Aberdeen between locations is essential.
