Denny and Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau, based in Denny is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people.
Funded by Illegal Money Lending Prevention team at Trading Standards, this 1 year post provides an exciting opportunity to provide information, advice and education around budgeting, financial planning and financial products.
This project is a Falkirk wide initiative in conjunction with Falkirk and Grangemouth and Bo’ness CABs. The project worker will be out in the community running financial games sessions in primary and secondary schools, workshops for parents and young adults and running additional advice outreach in locations throughout the Falkirk area including Grangemouth and Bo’Ness, Denny, Bonnybridge, Larbert and Central Falkirk.
We are looking someone confident in advising, presenting and working with different groups in the community to make this project a success. Training will be provided on the resources used in schools and groups and there are opportunities to increase knowledge base but some advising experience would be essential. A full person specification is attached.
Due to the outreach nature of the position, a full clean driving licence and access to a car is essential for the successful applicant.
