Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau is seeking a Volunteer Support Worker to join our team. The bureau was originally established in 1967 and provides free impartial advice on a wide range of issues to residents of Clackmannanshire.
During the last few years we have expanded both paid and volunteer staff numbers and been successful in recently acquiring more suitable premises in Glebe Hall, Burgh Mews, Alloa.
Role Purpose
This opportunity is for a Volunteer Support Worker to assist the Volunteer Development Officer/General Services Coordinator with all aspects of training and recruitment of Specialist volunteers. The successful applicants will,
- Liaise closely with the Volunteer Development Officer/General Services Coordinator in the recruitment of skilled advisers
- Assist with the training & development of volunteers
- Work closely with local carers groups to ensure closer partnership links
- Provide training in conjunction with partners and Volunteer Development Officer
- Offer continuous practical support to Volunteer Development Officer/General Services Coordinator including administration support
- Report directly to the Volunteer Development Officer/Session Supervisor
The Volunteer Support Workers will carry out other tasks within the scope of the post. Assist the Volunteer Development Officer/General Services Coordinator with the induction process of staff into the Bureau. Aid in the design and distribution of lesson plans and materials.
