The Citizens Advice Bureau offers a Free, Confidential and Impartial advice and representation service to the residents of East Dunbartonshire. We are currently recruiting for the position of Home Visit Worker.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a welfare benefits service on a Home Visit and outreach basis throughout East Dunbartonshire, and to raise awareness of all EDCAB services available amongst the client group.
A sound knowledge of Welfare Benefits,a working knowledge of all applications, mandatory reconsideration and appeals processes is essential, as is knowledge of relevant support organisations statutory and voluntary.
The post requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The post will be based in the CAB Kirkintilloch/Bishopbriggs, the service will be delivered in various locations throughout East Dunbartonshire.
