Moray Citizens Advice Bureau, based in Elgin, is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people.  

We are seeking to recruit a client-focused individual to join us as an Empower Project Adviser (Cost of Living Assistance). The post will require someone who has a reasonable understanding of the benefits system and in the provision of advice, information and representation. In this role the post holder will support and ensure clients have access to the help they are entitled to. The post holder will provide a bespoke holistic advice service by assisting clients with benefit checks (income maximization), completing necessary benefit and other relevant application forms, assist clients to access government financial help schemes and offer utility advice including contacting utility providers to seek better deals and / or challenge high bills.

While the project is available to anyone, we anticipate there will be demand from clients experiencing mental and / or physical health issues and those with caring responsibilities. The post holder will form effective working relations with other organisations ensuring a collaborative approach in service delivery. All Moray CAB services are tailored to individual client needs.
