More about the job

About the job

Angus Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people.  We are a friendly and welcoming team made up of 18 paid staff and around 45 volunteers that offer generalist advice to clients alongside more specific projects. We are looking for someone to join our team as an Administrator to provide vital support to ensure our busy advice service runs as smoothly as possible.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The role will involve (amongst other tasks) ensuring our petty cash and volunteer expenses are managed correctly, ensuring ordering of supplies for our offices is done in a timely and cost-effective manner and ensuring any repairs are reported to keep our offices functioning and safe. You will also attend Board meetings (both full board meetings and sub-committees, in person and via Teams) to take minutes, and contact clients to conduct client satisfaction surveys.

This role could be carried out over three full days, five shorter days or something in between – we are happy to be flexible for the right candidate wherever we can.
