CAS submitted written evidence to the Equal Opportunities Committee's follow-up inquiry to their 'Having and Keeping a Home' report in 2012 which examined the causes of homelessness amongst young people and steps that could be taken to prevent it.
Using client profile data and social policy feedback from bureaux, CAS' evidence looked at the experiences of CAB clients aged 16-24 who sought advice because they were homeless, or were under threat of becoming so.
