CAS responds to the Financial Ombudsman Service's consultation on future funding

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) is likely to become smaller after the PPI claim deadline in August 2019. Currently the service is highly reliant on case fees for its work but this may not be appropriate for the future. CAS agrees with the FOS that more of its future funding will need to come from a levy for it to continue to be sustainable and to respond to future events.
