CAS responds to the Accountant in Bankruptcy's consultation on returning funds to the free advice sector

CAS welcomes the AiB's proposal to return funds to the free advice sector from payment distribution for the Debt Arrangement Scheme. Although this response is based on the views of our members, there was no consensus on the question of how funds are to be paid. To preserve the network's independence, CAS has recommended that the funding is paid to SLAB to distribute for both DAS and debt advice in general.
