We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to check benefit entitlement, assist with benefit applications (including on-line applications) and offer advice and assistance on benefit issues, up to and including mandatory reconsideration requests. They will also have a good basic understanding of debt issues and be able to advise clients on budgeting, priority debts and expenditure and provide information on the debt enforcement process. Complex / multiple debt cases will be referred on to our Approved Money Adviser.
The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team is essential, as are excellent organisational and IT skills. Access to a car and a clean driving licence are an advantage, as this role will involve Outreach work.
