Social policy statistics briefing sheet 2008/09

In 2008/09, Citizens Advice Bureaux in Scotland dealt with a total of 976,989 issues - a 10% increase from the year before. These issues
were made up of 500,910 ‘new’ and 476,079 ‘repeat’ issues, where clients required more than one visit to have their issues resolved.

This briefing sheet provides a summary of client issues taken from Scottish bureaux statistics between April 2008 and March 2009.
