Debt Management Companies - CAB evidence

In 2008/09, Scottish Citizens Advice Bureaux dealt with nearly a million issues for clients. Issues related to debt increased by 16% last year to over 360,000 issues – nearly 1,000 debt cases for each day of the year. Debt continues to be the single biggest issue for CAB clients – representing around a third of all enquiries on an ongoing basis.
