The post holder will work with the Management team to recruit for volunteering opportunites and to provide practical on the job training and assistace and session supervision and play a key role in our quality assurance. They will also play a signficant role in our aims and aspirations to increase volunteers and retention.
The role will involve promoting best practice and supporting all new and existing volunteers and staff to effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities.
The successful applicant will be a trained advice worker (in a CAB or other advice agency) and will have 2 years experience. It is essential they have experience of supporting and mentoring volunteers and can demonstrate they can work to Scottish national standards. They must be motivated and enthusiastic and work in line with CAB values and principles. They will also have experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
The role may require some Saturday and evening work.
