Dundee Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for an enthusiastic energy/benefits adviser to join our advice team and make a real difference to their community. The role will be based in our office at Dundee Central Library with some home-working flexibility.
The energy/benefits adviser will provide energy and benefits advice to address fuel poverty, deliver budgeting support, advise on ways to be more energy efficient, keep homes warm and safe and save money.
Experience of giving advice is desirable and energy and benefit advice experience will be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have good IT skills as the role will provide advice using face to face appointments, phone, email and video calls.
We are looking for excellent admin skills, strong organisational abilities and a good telephone manner. The ability to communicate well is essential.
