Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau is seeking to recruit a Welfare Rights Adviser. The Adviser will be working face to face with clients and will undertake casework of a complex nature. They will also support CAB Advisers to ensure the provision and development of a quality advice service, particularly in relation to Universal Credit.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic team members with excellent interpersonal skills, the appropriate technical skills and a commitment to the work of the CAB service. Good organisational skills are essential, as is experience in welfare benefit and money advice work and knowledge of computer systems and their applications.
This post will start in a remote working capacity during Covid19; thereafter the role involves working between locations across our area of benefit (G1-G15).
The post is funded until March 2022 (with possible extension).
