The IT Team provides support to all Citizens Advice Scotland employees as well as the Citizens Advice network. This comprises of operational support and maintenance of the corporate network and data processing infrastructure for Citizens Advice Scotland and member bureaux, including hardware, software, network infrastructure and a variety of databases, most notably the case recording system databases (CASTLE and Servicemail).
We are currently looking for an Application Manager to join our IT team.
You will lead the team who are primarily responsible for case recording development co-ordination, development issues, testing, new implementations, data management and liaison as well as other shared applications.
You will also manage and lead the Application team to support bureaux in the continued usage of case recording systems and manage the implementation of new developments and/or new products as required that will play key role in future application strategy to ensure that CAS maximises it’s digital and information estate.
You will work nationally with bureaux and Citizens Advice Scotland staff to ensure that support and implementation is delivered in line with agreed timescales and objectives, and that transitional arrangements are effective.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of supporting Scotland's largest independent advice network.
*This role is normally based in our Edinburgh office. As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, all CAS staff are currently working from home and we would therefore expect the successful candidate would be required to work from home initially. Re-opening our offices will be carefully planned and managed in accordance with the latest Scottish Government guidance and public health advice. Candidates should be prepared to work from home initially, but be aware that attendance at the normal office base will be required in future. We are currently reviewing our home working policy in response to the COVID-19 crisis and ongoing opportunities to work from home can be discussed with the successful candidate at offer stage.
