The successful applicant will have to have excellent communication and advisory skills and be able to provide a holistic advice service at various outreach venues in the community. The successful applicant will have to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and assist/ empower them. They will have to use the Citizens Advice Bureau Information System to find, interpret and communicate the relevant advice and options available to the client. It may be essential to act for the client where necessary by calculating, negotiating by telephone or writing letters on behalf of the client. A driving license is required for this post.
