We require an experienced adviser to lead our volunteer advice team. You will ensure the provision of a quality advice, information and casework service to the public by supporting and assisting volunteer advice workers on a day to day basis and will in co-operation with other bureau staff attract, recruit, induct, train and support volunteer advice workers at the Bureau.
You will have a broad knowledge of the range of advice queries brought to a CAB or similar advice agency and ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an employee or volunteer within an advice agency or similar environment. Excellent communication, research, and interpersonal skills are a requirement for this post.
You will be resourceful with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to professional development and teamwork. A proficient knowledge of IT would be an advantage.
