The Electoral Commission has produced resources to help people understand the process of postal voting and voting in person in the May 6 elections.
With the number of postal votes expected to be higher at this election, there may be an increase in rejected ballots if people aren’t used to the process, so the following resources have been created:
- An animated video, which includes a checklist of what is in the postal vote ballot pack and then takes voters through a step-by-step process of how to complete it correctly.
- Social media graphics for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Instagram Stories
- Social media template post
These are available to download on the voter information page of The Electoral Commission's website.
