DWP have released a statement announcing that Citizens Advice and Citizens Advice Scotland have secured up to £38m investment to continue to provide support for customers making new claims to Universal Credit.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have released a statement announcing the outcome of the grant competition for an organisation to continue to provide support for customers making new claims to Universal Credit.
Citizens Advice and Citizens Advice Scotland have secured up to a £38m investment planned for two years from April 2024.
The DWP also highlighted that the Help to Claim service has helped support nearly 900,000 people since the service began, with 9 in 10 people rating their experience as good or very good, and saying that they would recommend the service. The DWP stated that this provided them with a strong reasoning to keep the name.
