Money Advice Officer (Fixed term, Full Time), Lochaber Citizens Advice Bureau

We require a Money Advice Caseworker to undertake the provision of Debt advice and Income Maximisation to individuals in the Lochaber area. Based in Fort William and working throughout Lochaber a key element of this post will be to assist and empower tenants of social landlords who are affected by “Welfare Reform” to overcome financial difficulties in an impartial and practical way. Knowledge of money advice, the options for dealing with debt and the welfare benefits system is essential, as is excellent communication, research, and interpersonal skills.

You will be resourceful with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to professional development and teamwork. A proficient knowledge of IT would be an advantage.
