More about the job
Citizens Advice and Right Fife (CARF) is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people. Our service continues to grow and expand, and we are now excited to recruit another person to join our busy service delivery team. If you have experience of working with community groups or delivering training, we would love to hear from you.
The Boosting Budgets Project Worker will deliver a financial inclusion service within identified schools across Fife, providing personalised income maximisation advice and support, alongside financial education, to parents and carers of children engaging in Fife Council’s Boosting Budgets project. The project will also provide a number of group-based sessions based on the above topics and be expected to generate individual referrals from the sessions as required.
You will have a good standard of education, high quality personal skills and the desire to improve lives. Experience in an advice-giving capacity and/or knowledge of the social security system would be desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Committed and results driven, the successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as supporting the Financial Inclusion Team to deliver CARF’s vision and values.
