More about the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated person to join our team.
This is a key role providing advice and assistance to vulnerable clients, including clients experiencing mental health issues, who may otherwise find it difficult to access advice. In addition to a sound knowledge of social security benefits, including Universal Credit, the ideal candidate will be aware of the potential impact of welfare reform, particularly on vulnerable clients and must also have the necessary organizational and time management skills to cope with a complex caseload.
Some evening work may be required and having a clean, current driving license and use of a car would be an advantage, as most of the work will be at Outreach locations and via home visits throughout Midlothian.
