Money Management Trainer and Caseworker (Full time), Inverness Badenoch and Strathspey Citizens Advice Bureau

As Money Management Trainer you will deliver money management/financial literacy training in a supportive and creative manner directly to vulnerable client groups; and you will train staff in the Bureau to build their skills base in this area of work. You will need experience of delivering training, working with and motivating people one to one and group settings.

The role of caseworker will encompass providing advice and representation to vulnerable client groups and supporting key professionals from other organisations. You will be required to carry an extensive caseload which will include Debt, Sequestration, Eviction and Repossession. A key aspect of the work will involve negotiation and preparation of information for creditors. You will need experience of working in a money advice service and ideally have experience of working to Level 3 of Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers.

You should be committed to improving the lives of vulnerable people who maybe homeless, victims of domestic violence, challenged with mental health, Looked after Children or a prisoner or prisoners’ family member. You will be passionate about helping them with the financial challenges they face. An enhanced disclosure check may be required for the above post.
