Parkhead CAB are seeking applications for suitably experienced individuals to join their staff team. The Training Officer post is part of the Pathfinders Project which is currently funded by the Glasgow Community Planning Partnership until March 2018 to provide training and workplace experience for local volunteers. The Volunteer Support Worker post, is funded for three years by The Robertson Trust and Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland.
PATHFINDERS PROJECT
TRAINING OFFICER£27,033

An opportunity for an experienced trainer to join Parkhead Citizens Advice Bureau to co-ordinate staff training and development. With experience in identifying training needs and designing and delivering training the successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and have effective communication and organisational skills.
VOLUNTEER SUPPORT WORKER
£22,968
(SJC spinal point 26)
21 hours/week (pro rata)
An opportunity for an experienced trainer/coach/mentor to provide learning support and to provide advice service support and supervision for a team of volunteer advisers. The successful candidate should be an experienced adviser and have experience of workplace assessment, have good communication skills and the ability to identify and meet individual training and development needs and the ability to support and motivate others within an advice setting.
Parkhead CAB will consider individual applications for each of the above part-time posts, or where candidates have the skills and experience for both posts and wish to apply for a combined full-time post then a single application will be acceptable but the application should cover the skills and experience relevant for each of the posts.
